Chapter
6 - Page 78 - Rhasha's Bed
Pepper had never seen a
vision before. All her strength left her
body and she fell to the floor. Tears ran
down her cheeks. She sobbed loudly. Jim
heard Pepper crying and looked up to see
what was going on. When he looked up, the
blue glow disappeared.
Jim could see Pepper sitting
on the floor, crying. He rushed over to
her. Pepper, what happened? Are you
OK?
Pepper regained her
composure. Jim, dont you see
the angels?
Jim looked at the four
patients. No, Pepper, he
said, I dont see them.
The transparent figures were
gone. Pepper jumped to her feet and
looked around. I saw an angel on
each side of each patient, she
declared. Please believe me, Jim! I
know they were there.
Jim put his arms around her.
I believe you, Pepper, and I
believe the angels are still there. We
just cant see them now.
Jim felt her shoulders relax
and released his hold on her. She excused
herself and moved to check the young
mothers pulse. Jim looked at the
mother and saw tears running down her
face. He looked at Rhasha and could tell
she had been crying, too. He knew Rhasha
and the young mother had seen the angels
also.
He walked over to the
mothers bed and kissed her on the
cheek. Pepper had finished checking her
pulse. Jim, she said,
shes much stronger now. I
think shes going to make it.
