Chapter 6 - Page 77 - Rhasha's Bed

“Father,” Jim continued, “I don’t know this woman, but I know she has two small children. I’m sure they love her very much. Lord, I know you are the Father of mercy and I know you are the Father of miracles.” A tear ran down his face. “I give you all the praise and the glory for everything that is good and decent. You are the Father of love, and you are the Father of healing. Father, we beg you for all of those things, here, today.” Jim hesitated for a brief second as he thought of the right words to say. “Father, we need your mercy. We need your miracle and we need your love. We need your healing tears to touch this woman. In Jesus Christ’s holy name I pray, amen.”

Jim kept his eyes closed and his head bowed. He studied a mental picture of God sitting on his throne. In his vision, Jim could see tears running down God’s cheeks.

Pepper looked up to check the heart monitor. The woman’s heartbeat was faster and stronger than before. She looked down at the woman’s body and saw a blue glow completely engulfing the woman. The glow also covered the two children. The woman’s breathing became stronger. One of her fingers moved and then her eyes opened. The sick woman was conscious, but unable to move. She still had a long way to go before she would be completely well.

Pepper couldn’t control herself. Tears flowed down her cheeks, and everything blurred. She looked at the children through tear-filled eyes, then wiped away the tears with her fingers. As her eyes began to focus, Pepper stared at all four patients in disbelief.

A white, transparent figure stood on each side of each patient, eight in all. The bright white figures were angels, dressed in long flowing gowns.
