Chapter 11 - Page 157 - Rhasha Goes Flying

Jim thought of her beautiful body, as being delightfully sexy. Her angelic face always supported an innocent smile.

Rhasha was full of energy. She ran toward the runway, yelling all the way, “Yes, yes, yes! Jim’s going to teach me how to fly.” When she reached the center of the runway, she stopped running and jumped as high as she could into the air, flinging her arms above her head with her fingers locked together. When she landed, she twirled in a circle, then wrapped her arms around her waist and hugged herself.

Rhasha suddenly lowered her head. Her happiness turned to tears. The strength in her legs gave way and her body dropped to the ground. Rhasha sat in the middle of the runway and held her face in her hands. She began to sob.

Jim had been watching Rhasha’s excitement. Her fall to the ground alarmed him. He ran as fast as he could and dropped down beside her. “Rhasha, what’s wrong? Are you OK?”

She looked up at him. Tears were running down her cheeks. “Jim,” she said, “I’m just so happy. Nobody should be this happy. I just know something bad is going to happen.”

Jim couldn’t keep his secret any longer. It was time to tell her about his vision. “Rhasha,” Jim said, “I love you more than anyone on earth. I never want you to be sad, but I have to tell you something.”
