Chapter
7 - Page 85 - Jim's
Promise
Rhasha and her parents heard
every word Jim said. Thamish and Thasha
could see the blue glow expanding out
from Jim and Rhasha until it filled the
whole room.
Father, I promise
never to hurt Rhasha again. If I do, I
pray you will punish me severely.
When Jim heard himself make
this promise to God, he realized what
hed promised Rhasha. Jim hesitated
as he thought about the words hed
said to her.
Father, I pray you
will heal Rhasha soon so she can go on
with her life. In Jesus holy name,
I pray. Amen.
The soft blue glow
disappeared as Jim opened his eyes. His
feet, abused during his barefoot run down
the road, didnt hurt anymore. The
cuts and bruises were completely healed.
As Jim gazed into
Rhashas eyes, he heard a humming
sound. Her eyes widened-Rhasha and her
parents could hear it, too. The humming
got louder, then began to pulsate. After
a few seconds, it faded away. Sparks
flashed from Rhashas eyes, like
sparklers on the Fourth of July. Jim
stood up and backed away from the bed. He
knew God was performing a miracle for
Rhasha. As he and her parents watched,
sparks flashed all over Rhashas
body. Lightning-like streaks shot out in
several directions. The flashes finally
stopped. Rhasha lay quietly on her bed.
Her body had been completely
transformed into that of a beautiful
girl. She looked just like the Rhasha Jim
had seen in his dream. She was
unconscious, and wore only a thin
hospital gown. Slowly Rhashas body
was elevated until she hovered twelve
inches above her bed. She floated away
from the bed to hang in the air, about
thirty-six inches above the floor. As she
levitated, her body slowly began to
rotate until she was in an upright
position with her feet six inches above
