Field Of Flowers
The singing stopped and the
room fell silent. Ghostly white clouds
poured from both sides of the ten-foot
tall white cross. The clouds swirled all
through the church, flying as if they
were alive. After the clouds passed over,
in between, and through the congregation
several times, they came to a stop and
hovered above the people. They turned
into a warm mist that rained down on the
congregation, so gently as to be unfelt.
As Jim watched the mist rain down on the
congregation, he sensed that the mist was
sent to the people from the Holy Spirit
as a way to soften their hearts and to
give them understanding.
A voice boomed in his
vision, "Jim, behold the
work of the Lord."
Jim fell to his knees and
clasped his hands together as if to pray.
"Sir," he said, "I don't
understand. What does the vision
mean?"
Everything and everyone
became motionless, as if time had
stopped. Jim was the only person who
could move.
"Jim," the voice thundered, "the
television crew recorded the vision you
saw. No one in the congregation saw it.
These miracles will be shown throughout
the world. Everyone who sees these
miracles on television will see Jesus
with his hands reaching out to them. He
will ask them to invite him into their
hearts. God will put understanding in
their souls and over a million people
will accept Jesus as their savior."
Jim was excited by what the
messenger said. He bowed his head to
praise God. When he finished praying, he
looked to the sky for a glimpse of the
throne room, but the window to heaven was
closed, and black clouds gathered in the
west. The black cluster rolled across the
sky. Lightning illuminated the heavens as
thunder rumbled far and wide. The clouds
vanished and the sun shone brightly
again. The roof of the church reappeared.
The vision was over.
