Chapter

The
voices told Jim what every vision meant
except for that one, the fiery mountain
collision. Was the young girl, Rhasha,
going to die? Jim couldnt get it
out of his mind. Why was Rhasha by
herself in the plane when she crashed?
Why did his dream image say Rhasha,
I love you?
Little did Jim know that
these questions would haunt him for the
rest of his life.
Several times during the
next few hours, Chuck or Mario checked on
Jim to see if he needed anything or to
let him know the flight status. Several
times Jim got up to stretch, use the rest
room facilities, or wash his face.
Hours later, the wheels of
the plane gently touched down on the
runway in Nairobi. Jim waited patiently
until it came to a complete stop in front
of a rented hangar. Chuck opened the door
and steps automatically unfolded out from
the plane.
Jim rose and met Mario and
Chuck in the cockpit. Mario, bed
the plane down in the hangar and make
sure that everything is locked up.
Im going to the hotel. Ill
send a taxi back to get you and
Chuck.
As Jim turned to leave the
cockpit, Mario stood to escort him off
the plane. Jim, he asked,
what are our plans at this
point?
Jim thought for a moment.
You and Chuck stay here in Nairobi
for a day, and get some rest.
Jims brow wrinkled as he thought.
Ill be busy at the embassy,
so the day after tomorrow, I want you to
take the plane back to Dallas.
Mario nodded.
Dont worry about the jet,
well get it back to Dallas. I wish
you the best of luck, here in
Africa.
