Chapter 3 - Page 22 - Africa Bound

Everything that is spiritual has no end to it. Could it be that space is a part of heaven?”

Just as Jim finished his last sentence, the plane hit an air pocket. It jerked up and down as if it were hitting chug holes or bumps in the sky. Chuck smiled. “Jim, I think everyone has their own theories about space. As for me, I just don’t know.” He looked toward the front of the plane. “Mario might need my help. You may want to fasten your seat belt.”

Jim located his seat belt and fastened the ends together. Chuck started walking toward the front of the plane. When he got close to the cockpit, the plane hit another air pocket and lunged. Chuck disappeared through the door.

Tired, Jim laid his head back against the seat. Within minutes he was in a deep sleep. As he slept, a foggy black image appeared in his mind. As he observed the blackness, a white dot appeared in its center and grew bigger and bigger until it completely overtook the vision. Suddenly the image exploded into a blueness filled with a hundred white and black dots.

Even in his dream, Jim was curious. What did it mean, or did it mean anything at all? The black and white dots turned into the faces of men, women, and children, people of every race, every religion, and every country.

Jim knew he was dreaming, but he was still without understanding. He could hear himself shouting in his dream, “Father, are you trying to show me something or is this just a dream?”
