Chapter 14 - Page 192 - New Addition To The Family

A loud voice entered Jim’s dream. It sounded like it was amplified through speakers. “Jim, we didn’t want you to dwell too much on what happened at the waterfalls. This vision was given to you so you will understand. The boy fell to the rock, but his life was spared.”

Jim felt weak, but he heard himself asking, “Are you God’s messenger, sir?”

   “I am God’s messenger.”

Jim began to relax. The vision he saw now was in the throne room of God. “Was the boy dead?” Jim asked.

God’s messenger didn’t hesitate to answer.
“It is appointed unto man only once to die, Jim. The boy had a spark of life left in him.”

As the messenger spoke, Jim could see bright lights flash in heaven with each word the voice uttered.

“That’s why it was important to transform you into glass. We needed to get all the people out of the way.”

“Could I ask, sir, why you erased everyone’s memories?”

“Jim,” the voice said, “if the people could remember you turning to glass, then they would believe that you’re God. If they could remember the beam of light that came from heaven, then they would believe you brought the boy back to life. God could have healed the boy without sending angels, but then it would have appeared that you healed him. The people would worship you and not the true God in heaven. After the boy was healed, God considered the vision too powerful for the African people, so he erased everyone’s memory.”
