Chapter 9 - Page 114 - New Passion

“Yes, I feel like traveling on. My heavenly home is bright and fair, and I feel like traveling on. I feel like traveling on. My heavenly home is bright and fair, and I feel like traveling on.”

The light show continued as long as Jim and Rhasha sang. Sometimes the streaks changed to blue. Other times, they changed to different colors. The multicolored streaks shot from Jim and Rhasha across the hospital.

“The lord has been so good to me. I feel like traveling on. Until that blessed home I see, I feel like traveling on. Yes, I feel like traveling on. I feel like traveling on. My heavenly home is bright and fair, and I feel like traveling on.”

When Jim and Rhasha finished singing the second song, the streaks of light stopped. Only the blue glow remained. Jim and Rhasha began singing the third song.

“I am weak, but thou art strong. Jesus, keep me from all wrong. I’ll be satisfied, as long as I walk close to thee. Just a closer walk with thee. Grant me Jesus, this my plea. Pray the legend ever be. Just a closer walk with thee.”

The audience didn’t know why the streaks of light shot across the hospital. All they knew was that the lights were pretty. Several people clapped their hands with the music. Jim and Rhasha smiled at each other as they continued to sing.

“When my feeble life is o’er, time for me will be no more. Fly me to that peaceful shore, let me walk close to thee. Just a closer walk with thee. Grant me Jesus, this my plea. Pray the legend ever be. Just a closer walk with thee.”

They began singing the fourth song.
