Shanha Talks To
Jesus
"Let us labor for the master
from the dawn to setting sun., Let us
talk of all his wondrous love and care,
when all of life is over and the work on
earth is done. When the roll is called up
yonder, I'll be there. When the roll is
called up yonder, when the roll is called
up yonder, when the roll is called up
yonder, When the roll is called up
yonder, I'll be there. When the roll is
called up yonder, I'll be there. When the
roll is called up yonder, when the roll
is called up yonder, when the roll is
called up yonder, when the roll is called
up yonder, when the roll is called up
yonder, I'll be there."
By the time they finished
singing, Reverend Morris and all the new
Christians were back on shore. Water
dripped off their clothes onto the
ground. Several people who hadn't been
baptized spoke with Reverend Morris. When
they told him Jesus spoke to them also,
he asked if they would like to be
baptized. They all declined. It was a new
experience for the village people and
they weren't ready to make the
commitment.
Jim and Rhasha hugged
Shanha, and Jim told her he was very
proud of her. Shanha's face glowed, and
her smile warmed Jim's heart. Shanha's
mother was already a Christian, and was
happy that her daughter believed in
Jesus.
Reverend Morris, Jim,
Rhasha, Shanha, Francis, Jackie, and
Simbatu walked among the people, hugging
them and shaking their hands. Finally the
village people escorted the traveling
salvation group to the boat. The Angel
Town residents climbed aboard and waved
good-bye to all their new friends.
Reverend Morris called a reminder to
everyone about the services in Angel Town
at ten o'clock the next morning, and
everyone said they would be there.
