Flying To America
Not really. I
overheard two girls talking at the
Nairobi airport.
And I guess these two
girls were stewardesses? Jim
suggested.
I dont know what
they call themselves.
So what did they
say? Jim asked.
One of the girls was
telling the other girl what she would
like to do to one of the passengers on
her flight. She said she would like to
put a glass of water on her tray, walk up
to the passenger, and say, Sir,
would you like something to drink?
By this time, Jim was
smiling. Rhasha continued her story.
Then she said, When he says,
Bring me some coffee-
I get the message,
Rhasha, Jim interrupted. You
took someone elses fantasy and
turned it into reality.
You got it.
Rhasha smiled and pinched Jims
cheek. Im so proud of
you.
By this time, Jackie had
fallen asleep. Before too long, sleep
overcame Rhasha and Shanha. Simbatu was
still too nervous to shut his eyes. Jim
tried to sleep, but he began thinking
about the dream he had on the night
Shanha moved in with him and Rhasha.
Gods messenger had said in his
dream that soon all things would come to
an end on earth. The messenger also said
that it would not happen in his lifetime,
but what about Rhasha and Shanha? Would
it happen in their lifetime?
Jim knew what the book of
Revelations said about the end times.
Would God take care of the residents of
Angel Town, he wondered, or would they
suffer the same agony as the rest of the
world?
