- New Passion
Suddenly they heard a
humming sound that rose until it could be
heard pulsating over the music. After a
few seconds, it faded away. The wind
stopped blowing. Not even a breeze could
be felt. Reverend Morris could see
lightning, but the thunder had fallen
silent. Not a sound could be heard,
except for Jim and Rhashas singing.
Above the church, the clouds parted and a
wide beam of light bathed the building
and warmed the congregation. Something
that looked like a transparent wall
surrounded the building. Beyond it, the
rain poured straight down, but not a drop
touched the little church or the ground
within a twenty-foot radius. Voices could
be heard singing with Jim and Rhasha. It
sounded like a choir of angels, a
thousand angels singing in harmony and
filling the air with music.
People in the congregation
stirred, looked around, trying to figure
out what was going on. Jim, Rhasha, and
the angels continued to sing. The
soothing music calmed everyone down.
People began clapping with the beat. The
warmth of the Holy Spirit filled the
congregation.

exchange it someday for a crown. So
Ill cherish the old rugged cross,
till my trophies at last I lay down. I
will cling to the old rugged cross and
exchange it someday for a crown.
Ill exchange it someday for a
crown.
As the first song ended,
not a sound could be heard. Jim and
Rhasha prepared to sing the second song.
When they started singing, the angels
joined in with them.
Sowing in the morning, sowing seeds
of kindness.
Sowing in the noontide and the dewy eve.
Waiting for the harvest and the time of
reaping. We shall come rejoicing,
